My opening to a persuasive speech
My speech is about if children in secondary school should wear school uniforms. I believe we should, it shows great examples if you are out in the public so that people know who you are. It also represents your school, what’s the point of going to school if you don’t represent it? You might as well be home schooled. Anyways, this will be my speech as to why we should wear School Uniform.

Well Done Jay, A Really Good Opening Speech! You Explained Your Point And The Link Carefully But, I Think That You Need To Show More Examples Of Why You Are Debating For The Statment . You Also Need To Show More Evidence. Once You’ve Done This Then This Opening Speech Won’t Just Be An Effective Speech For The Argument, This Speech Will Follow The Structure Of A Peel Paragraph. I Hope That My Advice Can Persuade You Do Add Some Changes To Your Opening Speech.

I do not think that PEEL paragraphs are the best way to structure an argumentative piece. It is unlikely that there will be the right amounts of evidence for what you are trying to do. Evidence is important, but it is not an Analytical essay and that means that PEEL is unlikely to allow you to do everything you are trying to do.
Better is to focus on how you will structure and develop your argument using analogy, metaphor, fact, and opinion.
Don’t capitalise every word either!
